Hi everyone, Barwon Heads Seagulls have been accepted into the Geelong Basketball League, so with great excitement we can announce that we plan on entering four teams to represent Seagulls basketball club in the upcoming winter season. If your child is an Under 12 or Under 14 boy or girl then you are eligible to play for our rep team.
Tryouts will be on this Tuesday, 21st March, from 17:00 to about 18:30, with the under 12’s trying out first, under 14’s second.
Important note – you DON’T have to play in the Bellarine competition to play in this one. This can be the only team you play for if you wish, we know how difficult it is for parents to get to two or more games each week. So, even if your child is not in a seagulls team right now (eg, if they’re currently playing in a Geelong team already) they can still come and play for these new seagulls teams.
Can all coaches please encourage their players to try out – we’d love (and need!) a really good turnout so we can fill these four teams!
